About AUI

AUI was incorporated in Malaysia on 18 December 1985, as a private limited company, under the Companies Act, 1965. AUI is principally involved in providing management, operation and maintenance to five (5) water treatment plants in the state of Kedah, Malaysia. The company is also involved in infrastructure projects and water engineering activities.

Under the privatisation concept by the Kedah State Government, AUI will operate and maintain the water treatment plants for a concession of thirty (30) years until the year 2020.

Goal, Commitment and Vision

AUI is dedicated in the provision of quality treated water by meeting and following closely to the acceptable international standards set out in water treatment. By adopting a managerial philosophy and style combined with the relevant expertise, AUI is assured of a consistency of high water quality in water through continuous in-line monitoring and regular laboratory testing.

AUI, being an efficient and a well managed water supply company in Malaysia will continuously contribute its services with high standards to its customers by constantly exploring new technologies with an aim to elevate efficiency and capability of high quality potable water.

AUI aspires to be one of the leading catalyst in realising the state of Kedah's vision, "Kedah Maju 2010" in the economic development through sufficient supply of high quality and reliable wholesome water to the local community.
